As an intern, I worked at Ocozzio for the summer of 2005, where I was treated more like a junior graphic designer rather than an intern. Enesco, our main client, had product lines such Cherished Teddies, Jim Shore, Mickey & Friends, Pooh & Friends and Precious Moments.
I was tasked with designing the packaging for Pooh & Friends figurines. I was sent the die lines from China where the actual packaging would take place. My account representative at Enesco provided me with the copy, barcode, and other “must have” images and information that I needed to include on the packaging. After reviewing the brand elements for this product line, I worked to layout the designs for the entire line of figurines- Pooh, Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Owl, Piglet, Rabbit, Roo and Tigger.
Another product line, Cherished Teddies, had a fan club. One of my projects was to redesign the quarterly newsletter for the Cherished Teddies fans.
